CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER (FULL TIME & PART TIME)

Location:

100 Bayer Boulevard, Whippany, New Jersey 07981.

Schedule:

Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm (full-time or part-time). Pay: $20.00–$22.00 per hour.

Our immediate hiring opportunity – prior catering, cashier, or pantry stocking experience is preferred.

Operates point-of-sale system, assists the chef, prepares coffee, and keeps the cash and coffee stations clean.

• Prepares foods (meats, vegetables, baked goods, desserts) and assists in preparing catering orders.
• Performs cashier duties using the POS system.
• Maintains cleanliness: removes trash and garbage from designated areas.
• Provides service in all retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
• Maintains cash accuracy and makes deposits at shift end.
• Inventories and restocks supplies and food products.
• Sets up serving line and monitors temperatures, notifying cooks of any deviations.
• Serves hot and cold items to customers.
• Prepares items for daily purchase and keeps refrigerator stocked using FIFO.
• Stocks pantries with correct par levels and records replenished amounts and refrigerator temperatures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Prior experience in catering, cashier, or pantry stocking preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation desirable.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
