MSC is expanding our sales team to meet growing demand for our services. As a Sales Specialist, you will work directly with facility managers to develop and implement innovative solutions. You will be supported by our in-house team of professional engineers, certified HVAC technicians, and building automation specialists.
Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient HVAC sales professional to maintain strong customer relationships, drive sales, and estimate and manage projects. The successful candidate understands key operational challenges faced by facility managers and is familiar with HVAC best practices, trends, and technologies
Key Responsibilities- Engage with current and prospective customers to gain an understanding of their unique requirements and challenges for tailored solutions
- Estimate, develop, and present quotations and thorough proposals, including repairs, testing, inspections, installations, and preventive maintenance plans
You will also be responsible for:
- Identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities within our target HVAC market
- Achieving and exceeding sales targets through effective lead generation and relationship-building
- Manage and coordinate the customer relationship, ensuring follow-up with the appropriate department, i.e. sales, service, or operations
- Maintain ongoing communication with customers to ensure consistent satisfaction and anticipate evolving needs
- Consistently review project status ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery
- Minimum 5 years of demonstrated success in commercial/industrial HVAC sales
- Must be able to estimate an HVAC project with all components and prepare a proposal
- Exceptional attention to detail, responsiveness, and follow-through skills
- Polished and professional communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to thrive in a technical environment
- Advanced working knowledge MS Office and CRM software
- Effective time management, organization, prioritization, and multi-tasking capabilities
- Proven track record in cross-collaboration with engineering and operations teams
- Salary $150,000 OTE ($85K - $95
Kbase) - Signing bonus
