Technical Estimator and Sales Support

We are looking for a Technical Estimator and Sales Support staff to join our team Dartmouth, NS fabrication facility. Reporting to the manager, this role is to assist with Overhead Crane quoting and fabrication scheduling to ensure customers’ needs are met. Our ideal candidate will represent Atlantic Crane with a strong positive attitude and a drive to succeed; all in an effort to ensure optimal client satisfaction.

• Prepare estimates for parts and standard equipment
• Prepare cost and material estimates, project schedules, and reports
• Assist in preparing and interpreting conventional and computer assigned design engineered drawings and specifications
• Prepare contract and tender documents
• Act as a Customer Service Representative
• Act as a liaison between the production, sales and engineering teams

• Business Degree with Mechanical Aptitude and/or Certified Engineering Technologist/Mechanical Engineering Technologist Diploma
• Experience in customer service and/or industrial sales an asset
• Familiar with Solidworks, CAD or similar programs
• General mechanical proficiency
• Ability to accomplish multiple tasks in a timely and efficient manner
• Must be capable of organizing and coordinating work with minimal supervision
• Must have high attention to detail
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Energetic and enthusiastic attitude
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
