Senior Electrical Engineer

Creare is a leader in cutting-edge R&D, developing new technologies and providing analysis, design, experimental, computational, product, and consulting services to industry and government. We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with a strong background in space systems and military applications. You'll be part of Creare's interdisciplinary team, working closely with electrical, mechanical, and software engineers and skilled technicians to bring R&D concepts to life in our lab and field environments.

• Design, develop, and integrate complex electrical systems for mission-critical applications;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system-level performance and compliance;
• Support proposal development and customer engagement efforts, contributing technical insight to business development initiatives;
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across projects;
• Ensure designs meet applicable military or aerospace standards and customer requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
• Extensive experience in business development and program management, ideally within the defense, aerospace, or high‑tech sectors.
• Strong understanding of system integration, testing, and qualification processes.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements for aerospace and defense products (e.g., AS9100).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Salary starting at $140,000 per year and up, based on level of education completed and years of relevant work experience.
