Position: Baylor RN/LPN/LNA - Work 24 hours, get paid for 30!

Kendal at Hanover is seeking Baylor RN/LPN/LNAs. The employees in this role provide residents living in the independent setting or assisted living facility with quality care by providing support within the guidelines of established practice and acts appropriately within the scope of their role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

RN Responsibilities
  • Completes comprehensive assessments of residents as needed to monitor health status, acute changes and appropriate care interventions in required time frames.
  • Responds to pendant alarms or emergency calls in a timely fashion; assesses the resident’s condition, contacts the medical provider or arranges for hospital transfer as appropriate.
  • Provides complete instructions for medication regimen and assessing resident’s comprehension of his or her medication schedule, as required for discharge planning.
  • Assures quality of care by direct observation and resident visits to ensure nursing care plan followed medications and treatments administered in accordance with MD/NP orders.
LPN Responsibilities
  • Assures quality of care by direct observation and resident visits to ensure nursing care plan followed and medications/treatments administered in accordance with MD/NP orders.
  • Timely and accurately administers medications and treatments within their scope of practice.
  • Orders medications from the pharmacy, keeping medication carts stocked and ready for the next shift's dispensing.
  • Performs focused evaluations of residents as needed to monitor health status, acute changes and appropriate care interventions.
LNA Responsibilities
  • Maintains unencumbered license and acts appropriately according to the scope of practice and as required by regulations.
  • Assures quality of care by meeting resident needs as outlined in the individual care plan.
  • Communicates and works professionally with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Supports residents in doing as much for self as possible, promoting positive leisure time.
