Schedule:
Work a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. - Flexible Staffing:
We are open to one full-time provider or two providers who can each cover opposite weeks on a consistent basis. - Balanced Workload:
Your daily work will include 36 patient-facing hours per week, with an average of 12-16 outpatient visits per day. - Collaborative Environment:
You will supervise two onsite PAs and work with them on a variety of tasks, including in-basket support and patient questions. You will not work solo. - Minimal Call:
You will take after-hours call for outpatient and consult calls (0-5 calls per month), and respond to hospital consults (0-5 per month) via telephone during office hours. - EMR System:
The facility uses Epic for all charting.
- Provide comprehensive rheumatology services, including new and return patient visits. New patient slots are 40-60 minutes, and return patient slots are 20 minutes.
- Supervise and answer questions from two onsite APPs.
- Provide in-basket support, including administrative and clinical tasks.
- Perform joint injections.
- Handle minimal after-hours call and hospital consults via telephone.
The practice sees a wide range of adult rheumatological conditions, including:
- Rheumatoid Arthritis, Psoriatic Arthritis, Ankylosing Spondylitis
- Lupus, Scleroderma, Sjogren's Syndrome
- Gout and Crystal Arthropathies
- Osteoporosis/bone health
- Vasculitis, Inflammatory Myopathies
- GCA-Giant Cell Arteritis, TA-Temporal Arteritis, PMR-Polymyalgia
- Sarcoidosis, Reactive Arthritis, Reynaud's Phenomenon
- Positive ANA with other symptoms
- Education:
MD or DO. - Board Status:
Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Rheumatology. - Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of experience. - Licensure:
An active Pennsylvania State License is required. We will also consider candidates with an IMLC. - Certifications:
BLS, DEA, and CSR licenses are required.
- The estimated start date is January 2, 2026.
- The estimated time to secure full privileges is 90 days.
