Locums Anesthesiology coverage in an outpatient setting in Pennsylvania with a care team model and a mix of solo and supervision. Bread and butter cases, no open heart or neuro, and no OR peds under 13.

• High coverage need, 60 shifts per month open, with 7 on, 7 off availability noted as ideal
• Care team model with a mix of 50% solo work plus CRNA supervision
• Case mix is primarily bread and butter, no open heart, no neuro, no OR peds under 13

Practice Setting

• Outpatient medical setting
• Care team model, includes solo coverage and CRNA supervision
• CRNA supervision ratio ranges from 1:3 to 1:4
• Patient ages, no OR pediatric cases under age 13

Schedule

• Weekday shifts include 8 hour and 10 hour options
• Weekday call coverage is overnight
• Weekend call is 24 hour call coverage
• Call is off site within 20 minutes, with expectation to respond in person within 30 minutes for emergencies

Cases and Procedures

• Mostly bread and butter ortho, general surgery, gyn, podiatry, urology
• Includes L&D coverage
• No open heart cases
• No neuro cases

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified in Anesthesiology
• BLS and DEA required
• Pennsylvania license, will wait for license
