Journeyman Machinist

-Set up and adjust a variety of parts on lathes, mills, drills, burring machines, grinders, end clearance machines and hyprolaps to machine sides, I.D., O.D., and joints
-Change chucks, fixtures, gears, tools, cups, grinding wheels etc
-Set tools and attachments
-Determine sequence of jobs and advise supervisor on material or tooling needs, or any other concerns
-Control and edit NC and CNC programs as needed
-Help train and develop employees
-Execute activities to help with scrap reduction, improving productivity and overall support of business objectives
-Follow safety guidelines Required Skills & Experience
-HS Diploma or GED is required
-Must possess Journeyman Machinist card
-Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
-Ability to read and understand blueprints
-Possess the ability to meet the requirements for ITAR Compliance
