• Develop and strengthen translation skills through translating and proofreading documents with the aid of the Interpreter/Translators & Interpreter Translator Coordinator;
• Attend Nunatsiavut Government Assembly to gain experience in Interpreting
• Attend workshops delivered by department, such as Terminology Workshop
• Training & in servicing as required
• Other related duties as required

• Intermediate to fluent level of Inuttitut speaking, reading and writing
• Good organizational and interpersonal skills
• Computer skills in Microsoft programs
• High school diploma

• Bilingual in Inuktitut and English
