Casual Security Guard at Labrador Health Centre

Be part of the safety team at Labrador Health Centre in Happy Valley-Goose Bay. We are seeking a Casual Security Guard to ensure the safety of our hospital premises.

As a Casual Security Guard with Paladin Security, you will conduct patrols across hospital grounds and monitor surveillance systems. This position requires responding to emergencies and providing assistance to patients, staff, and visitors, ensuring compliance with hospital policies. Flexibility in hours is necessary, especially for emergency situations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols of hospital grounds

• Monitor surveillance cameras and respond to alarms

• Control access points to restricted areas

• Respond to medical and security threats effectively

• Assist hospital visitors and enforce compliance

Requirements:

• Clear Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License

• Previous security or law enforcement experience preferred

• Use of Force and Management of Aggressive Behavior certification required

• High School Diploma
