Purpose of the Job: The individual in this position will provide Technical Training on Ebara Elliott Energy (EEE) products (steam turbines, centrifugal compressors, lube & seal systems, and hot gas expanders) both internally to our own employees as well as occasionally externally to our customers.
Overview & ResponsibilitiesThe job is designed to develop and maintain training programs by creating high‑quality programs that can be used internally and externally. With these packaged programs, EEE will be able to offer a broader range of training programs to the market as well as better training to our employees.
This individual will be responsible for the update/design of the material, the actual training of customers & employees in EEE products and coordinate the actual site training classes for repair center employees.

SpecificJob Responsibilities
- Acquire an understanding of EEE organization, product lines, procedures, service facilities, manufacturing facility and methods.
- Continually update the training material for improvements or changes in product lines: presentations and manuals for all EEE products.
- Internally works with the Technical Service Engineers to understand their training needs.
- Help design new training courses and change existing ones for better impact.
- Create ideas and material which will communicate knowledge while being able to keep the customer's attention focused on the actual material.
- Determine depth of material coverage for training programs to obtain maximum effectiveness in time given.
- Evaluate, justify, and order new models to assist in the training programs.
- Photograph equipment/parts/classes for training advertising/material.
- Update training material (Power Points and manuals).
- Review Service Engineering Bulletins to determine technical training issues.
- Track repair center employees training records—constantly updating completion records.
- Assure all training documentation is maintained on record for audit purpose.
- Semi‑annual review of repair center employee records to note training deficiencies and schedule to correct.
- BS degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in rotating equipment training activities.
- Strong background in rotating equipment.
- Experience in training, program development, project management, preferably maintenance, operations, components, and troubleshooting of steam turbines and compressors.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written), organization skills, and computer skills (experience with PowerPoint, MS Word, Excel, Lotus Notes, etc.).
- Familiarity with EEE products.
- Sufficient technical or mechanical ability to grasp ideas and organize them into easily understood presentations, illustrations, and/or written descriptions.
- Classroom presentation training ability is mandatory.
