The Specialist - Quality will be responsible for ensuring raw material and product integrity along with other Quality Assurance activities for the plant to include syrup and/or beverage preparation and distribution, microbiology, sanitation, finished product analysis, package integrity testing, and process control by following all current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs).

• Test finished product as well as specific packaging attributes as described by our Parent Company to ensure that our finished products meet required specifications
• Perform Micro sample collection and testing
• Blend syrup and/or finished product (hot fill) from concentrate
• Internal and external cleaning/sanitation of production machinery and storage areas
• Perform appropriate duties as assigned by management

• Minimum age 18 years old
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies
• Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines
• Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets
• Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology
• Ability to demonstrate independence, analytical skills, and strategic thinking
• Effective communication skills
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 6 to 12 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, or flexible schedule as required
• Ability to execute lab analysis on varying pieces of equipment and instruments
• Ability to work independently as well as with all functional team members
• Effective interpersonal, quality management, problem solving, time management, multi‑tasking, and communication skills
• Ability to climb 10‑12 ft ladder
