The QA/QC Inspector Level 2 is responsible for in-process, receipt, and source inspections and for ensuring the quality of materials used in products, the quality of workmanship and compliance with specifications and customer requirements.

• Ensure that the Quality Management System is carried out to achieve planned results.
• Ensure the quality of finished goods when appropriate.
• Input QA/QC information into Web QMS.
• Inspect incoming raw materials.
• Conduct dimensional inspection based on the purchase order or the appropriate drawings.
• Prepare identification stencils and marking.
• Take test samples to appropriate laboratories.
• Shop inspections of the production and the packaging processes.
• Monitor and record QC inspection reports.
• Conduct and document final inspections.
• Provide support for shipping.
• Answer technical questions, contacting suppliers when needed.
• Assisting the QA Level 1 with SIT/Huber's Calibration program, ensuring that all equipment which requires calibration is entered into Web QMS and is up-to-date.
• File quality-related paperwork, such as dimensional reports, as per ISO procedures.
• Inspecting finished products being shipped are properly built to the required specifications.
• Interface with Management, Operations and Purchasing on discrepant materials.
• Move to other areas as needed (production, fill-in work, etc.) when their specific area is not available.
• Support and participate in the organization's continual improvement program to conform to ISO 9001 and understand the implications of not complying with the quality management system.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent secondary education.
• Bachelor's degree, a plus.
• Experience as described below may be accepted in lieu of education.

• Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in quality assurance/quality control.
• Experience working in an ISO 9001:2015 environment a plus.

• Knowledge of quality systems processes and procedures.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend and follow instructions, drawings or blueprints, specifications, safety signs/warnings and other job related materials as needed.
• Knowledge of specifications and tolerances.
• Ability to use necessary measuring equipment.
• Good mathematical skills.
• Good analytical thinking.
• Detail-oriented.
• Ability to work under pressure of schedules.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Excellent communication skills.

• Able to sit, bend, stand, and walk 8-12 hours per day.
• Able to regularly lift and/or move up to 15 lbs, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 lbs, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
• Able to use close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and adjustment of focus.
• Must comply with any safety or PPE requirements.
• Occasional exposure to a production environment.
• 10% travel required.
• Able to pass any required drug tests.
• Able to pass any required background inspections.
• Must possess valid driver's license.
