Position: Primary Classroom Teaching Role
St. Francis School in Harbour Grace seeks a Full-Time Primary Classroom Teacher dedicated to student-centered learning from September 2026. Collaborate to create an inclusive educational experience.

This position runs for the full academic year, ending June 25, 2027. Candidates should hold a Bachelor of Education - Primary-Elementary, along with a NL Teaching Certificate. The successful individual will promote safe learning environments and demonstrate a commitment to professional development, engaging with students and families while addressing varying learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand student learning styles and preferences

• Design and implement responsive teaching strategies

• Provide feedback on student performance and progress

• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere

• Work collaboratively with families and the community

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Education - Primary-Elementary degree

• NL Teaching Certificate

• Demonstrated teaching practice experience

• Strong commitment to a safe learning environment

• Evidence of effective assessment skills
