KPMG India’s Digital Government Advisory (DGA) practice helps government bodies modernize public services through technology. It offers strategic consulting, digital architecture, and sector-specific solutions across areas like transport, water, justice, and finance. The team enables large-scale e-Governance, data analytics, and automation to improve efficiency and citizen experience.

About the Role:

The Emerging Technology Expert will lead innovation initiatives and support the development, integration, and implementation of cutting‑edge technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Drone-based solutions, and Internet of Things (IoT) applications. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to design prototypes, evaluate technologies, and develop scalable digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

 Research, evaluate, and implement emerging technologies including AI, ML, IoT systems, and drone platforms.

 Develop proof-of-concepts, prototypes, and pilot projects to validate technology feasibility.

 Provide technical guidance on architecture, system integration, and deployment of next-generation tech solutions.

 Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to identify opportunities for technology adoption.

 Prepare documentation, technical specifications, and implementation plans.

 Ensure security, scalability, and performance of technology solutions.

 Stay updated on global technological trends, standards, and best practices.

Required Qualifications &

Experience:

 MCA /

B.Tech/BE in Computer Science or IT.

 Minimum 5 years of experience in AI, IoT, drone systems, or related emerging technologies.

 Strong understanding of cloud platforms, data processing, sensors, and automation technologies.

Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks, IoT development boards, drones, or digital automation systems.

 Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Skills:

- Knowledge of Python, C++, or AI development libraries.

- Experience with IoT devices (Raspberry Pi, Arduino, ESP
32, etc.).
- Exposure to drone data processing, GIS, or automation tools.
- Familiarity with Dev Ops, edge computing, or cybersecurity.
