Production Head

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced  Production Manager  to oversee and manage all production-related activities in the manufacturing of  Power and Distribution Transformers . The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the  main assembly line operations  (CA, CCA, Tanking, Dispatch) and be responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising production processes, with a strong focus on  cost optimization  and  inventory control .

Key Responsibilities:

Production Supervision:
Oversee the smooth execution of all  production activities  across different sections of the transformer manufacturing plant.
Ensure adherence to  production schedules , quality standards, and safety protocols.
Planning & Scheduling:
Develop and implement effective production plans to meet project deadlines and customer demands.
Organize and allocate resources efficiently to optimize productivity.
Main Assembly Line Management:
Manage the  Main Assembly Line  operations, including  CA (Core Assembly), CCA (Core Coil Assembly), Tanking, and Dispatch  processes.
Monitor and improve operational efficiency, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum throughput.
Cost Optimization:
Identify areas for  cost reduction  within all plant operations without compromising on quality.
Implement cost-effective manufacturing practices and resource optimization strategies.
Manufacturing Process Handling:
Oversee all manufacturing processes, ensuring they are carried out according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Implement process improvements to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
Inventory Control:
Manage  inventory control  processes, ensuring optimal stock levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods.
Minimize inventory holding costs while preventing material shortages.
Quality & Compliance:
Ensure compliance with  quality standards , industry regulations, and safety protocols in all production activities.
Conduct regular audits and process reviews to maintain high-quality output.
Team Leadership & Development:
Lead, mentor, and motivate production teams to achieve operational excellence.
Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
Proven experience  in  power transformer manufacturing , particularly in  Main Assembly Line operations  (CA, CCA, Tanking, Dispatch).
Strong background in  production planning ,  process optimization , and  cost management .
Expertise in  manufacturing process control ,  inventory management , and  quality assurance .
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical abilities.
