Job descriptionDrama Teacher – Flexible short-term and long-term opportunities available immediately. These flexible opportunities are ideal for teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different secondary school settings. You will be supporting schools by delivering engaging Drama lessons across Key Stages as part of general supply cover.
Duties as Drama Teacher:- Deliver creative and engaging Drama lessons following provided plans
- Inspire students through practical and performance-based activities
- Encourage teamwork, confidence‑building, and expressive communication
- Manage behaviour effectively in accordance with school policies
- Assess and record pupil progress where required
- Contribute positively to performing arts departments when placed in longer‑term roles
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge in Drama and performing arts
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities
- Confident classroom management skills
- Adaptable and comfortable working across different school environments
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils
