Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - EYFS & KS1

SANZA Teaching Agency are working closely with a welcoming and creative primary school in Haringey to recruit an experienced Learning Support Assistant to join their team. This role is ideal for a passionate LSA who has strong SEND experience and is confident supporting pupils across EYFS and KS1.
The school provides a rich, engaging and fruitful curriculum that enables children to thrive and receive a high-quality learning experience. They are seeking a committed Learning Support Assistant who can make a meaningful difference in both EYFS and KS1 classrooms.
The Role - Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
Provide 1:1 and small group SEND support in EYFS and KS1
Support pupils with Autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, and additional learning needs
Work closely with the class teacher to adapt learning activities to suit individual needs
Implement EHCP targets and personalised learning strategies
Support early phonics, literacy and numeracy development across KS1
Assist with early development and play-based learning in EYFS
Encourage positive behaviour and emotional regulation strategies
Promote inclusion and engagement for all learners
Monitor progress and provide feedback to teachers and SENCO
This LSA role requires someone proactive, nurturing and confident in managing SEND needs within both EYFS and KS1 settings.
The Ideal Learning Support Assistant
Previous experience as an LSA or Learning Support Assistant
Strong SEND experience within a primary school setting
Confident supporting pupils in EYFS and KS1
Understanding of early phonics and early years development
Calm, patient and adaptable approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
