SEN Teaching Assistant in Haringey

We are working with a well-established specialist SEND school in Haringey, who are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with PMLD, SLD and Autism
.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with complex needs and making a meaningful difference in their education and development.

• Supporting pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Autism
• Providing 1:1 and small group support in the classroom
• Assisting with personal care
  , sensory activities and mobility support where required
• Supporting pupils with communication needs
  , emotional regulation and behaviour
• Working closely with teachers, therapists and support staff to implement EHCP targets
• Creating a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment

• Experience working with SEND
  , particularly PMLD, SLD or Autism (school, care, or support setting)
• A patient, caring and resilient approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
  
  Willingness to support with personal care
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

• Competitive daily rate of £100–£110 per day
