Psychology Teacher – Flexible short-term and long-term opportunities available immediately
These flexible opportunities are ideal for teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different secondary school settings. You will be supporting schools in a range of environments, delivering Psychology lessons across Key Stages as part of general supply cover.
Duties as Psychology Teacher:- Deliver engaging Psychology lessons following provided plans
- Teach topics such as cognitive, social, developmental, and biological psychology
- Support students in developing analytical and critical thinking skills
- Assess, track, and record pupil progress where required
Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment - Manage behaviour effectively in accordance with school policies
- Contribute to department planning during longer-term placements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge in Psychology and related areas
- Ability to motivate and engage students of mixed abilities
- Confident behaviour management skills
- Flexible and adaptable across various school settings
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
