DT Technician (School Based)

Salary: £16–£17 per hour (Depending on experience)

Are you an experienced and reliable DT Technician looking for your next opportunity in a school environment?
Complete Classroom Services is currently recruiting for a skilled and proactive Design & Technology Technician to support secondary schools across Haringey and surrounding North London boroughs. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous school or lab-based experience who is available to start immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing and setting up DT classrooms and workshop spaces for practical lessons
* Preparing materials, tools, and equipment in advance of lessons
* Supporting teachers during practical sessions where required
* Maintaining and organising tools, machinery, and stock
* Ensuring all equipment is stored safely and maintained to a high standard
* Carrying out routine checks and basic maintenance of workshop equipment
* Monitoring and replenishing materials and supplies
* Ensuring compliance with health & safety and safeguarding procedures
Requirements:
* Previous experience working in a school environment (essential)
* Experience working in a lab, workshop, or technical support role
* Experience using Sims, Abror or Bromcom database
* Experience preparing practical classroom or lab spaces
* Strong understanding of health & safety procedures
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (mandatory) OR willingness to apply and pay for a new DBS
