You don't need years of classroom experience. If you have supported children, motivated others or helped someone overcome challenges, you could already have the skills needed to make a real difference.

More Than Supporting Lessons

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll be one of the people who helps children feel confident, included and ready to learn.

Your day could include:

Supporting pupils during classroom activities
Working with children individually or in small groups
Helping build confidence, independence and positive behaviour
Supporting pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN)
Assisting teachers to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment
Encouraging children to achieve things they didn't think they could
Every day brings new challenges, new conversations and new opportunities to make an impact.
