Refuge Case Worker (Agency)
Location: Haringey
Hours: 25 hours per week
Contract: Temporary / Agency (6 weeks with likely extension)
Start Date: Before the end of February
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Refuge Case Worker to join the Louise House service in Haringey on a temporary agency basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a committed professional who is immediately available, DBS cleared, and Right to Work compliant.
Role Overview
As a Refuge Case Worker, you will support residents within a refuge setting, providing practical and emotional support, risk management, and advocacy to promote safety, independence, and positive outcomes.
Key Details
25 hours per week
Duration: 6 weeks initially (likely extension)
Compliance Required: Enhanced DBS and Right to Work documentation
Immediate start required (before end of February)
Working Pattern Options
Option 1 5 Days per Week (Monday to Friday)
10:00am 3:00pm (5 hours, no break)
OR10:00am 3:30pm (5.5 hours with 30-minute unpaid break)
Option 2 4 Days per Week
09:30am 4:15pm (6 hours 45 minutes with 30-minute unpaid break)
Requirements
Previous experience working within a refuge, domestic abuse, or supported housing setting
Strong understanding of safeguarding and risk management
Ability to manage caseloads and maintain accurate records
Enhanced DBS (on the update service preferred)
Right to Work in the UK
Available to start before the end of February
