What you will do:
- Provide day-to-day leadership and supervision to a team of social workers and practitioners, overseeing assessments, care planning, and safeguarding activities.
- Ensure high standards of professional practice, robust decision‑making, and rigorous safeguarding across the team’s work.
- Monitor and manage the team’s workload, ensuring timely assessments in line with Care Act requirements and performance targets.
- Support team members through coaching, performance management, and the promotion of continuous professional development.
