Warehouse Operative

About the Role:

We are currently seeking a reliable Warehouse Operative to join our team in Seven Sisters area. This is a hands-on role involving the handling of heavy items. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of goods in a busy warehouse environment, ensuring accuracy, safety, and high standards at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manually handle, move, and store heavy rugs and containers
• Load and unload vehicles using appropriate manual handling techniques or lifting equipment
• Pick, pack, and prepare stock for delivery or internal use
• Operate pallet trucks, trolleys, and other warehouse equipment
• Carry out stock checks and maintain accurate inventory records
• Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and compliant with health & safety standards
• Report any product damage, health & safety risks, or equipment issues to management
• Work as part of a team to meet daily targets and maintain smooth operations

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or manual handling role is essential
• Ability to regularly lift items up to 25kg and work in a physical environment
• Good awareness of manual handling and warehouse safety procedures
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work under pressure
• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills
• Able to work well both independently and as part of a team
• Availability for immediate start
