Warehouse Operative

Location: Seven Sisters

About the Role:

We are currently seeking a reliable Warehouse Operative to join our team in Seven Sisters area. This is a hands-on role involving the handling of heavy items. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of goods in a busy warehouse environment, ensuring accuracy, safety, and high standards at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manually handle, move, and store heavy rugs and containers

* Load and unload vehicles using appropriate manual handling techniques or lifting equipment

* Pick, pack, and prepare stock for delivery or internal use

* Operate pallet trucks, trolleys, and other warehouse equipment

* Carry out stock checks and maintain accurate inventory records

* Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and compliant with health & safety standards

* Report any product damage, health & safety risks, or equipment issues to management

* Work as part of a team to meet daily targets and maintain smooth operations

Requirements:

* Previous experience in a warehouse or manual handling role is essential

* Ability to regularly lift items up to 25kg and work in a physical environment

* Good awareness of manual handling and warehouse safety procedures

* Reliable, hardworking, and able to work under pressure

* Strong attention to detail and good communication skills

* Able to work well both independently and as part of a team

* Availability for immediate start
