- 10 consecutive days call month 1, extended weekend coverage month 2
- 4 patients per shift with both inpatient and outpatient coverage
- In-house call with 30 minute response time
- General surgery including adult and pediatric procedures
- GI endoscopy procedures including upper, lower, and colonoscopy
- Core procedures include appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernioplasty
- Call involves coverage of unassigned patients
- 20% call back rate
