Military Child Education Coalition New Programming VISTA
Join to apply for the Military Child Education Coalition New Programming VISTA role at Ameri Corps
The Military Child Education Coalition's mission is to support all military-connected children by educating and collaborating to resolve education challenges associated with the military lifestyle. The proposed VISTA project aligns with the Education and Military and Veteran Families Support Ameri Corps focus areas. The project aims to deliver new educational and social-emotional learning programming to an additional 3,000 military-connected children, parents, and educators.
It also seeks to secure an additional $1,000,000 in funding along with accompanying fundraising resources to support this new programming. VISTA members and VISTA leaders will contribute to the project's goals over three years by researching, designing, and developing new programming, as well as creating a reusable fundraising database and toolkit.
The VISTA member will support military-connected children by developing and implementing new educational and social-emotional learning programs. Responsibilities include conducting in-depth analysis of MCEC's current programs, engaging with stakeholders to identify needs, and designing new programs that address these gaps. The member will also develop online resources, trainings, and toolkits to enhance accessibility and effectiveness. Additionally, they will evaluate the impact of the new programs and compile findings into actionable reports to guide MCEC's future efforts.
