Site Civil Associate Project Manager

An exciting opportunity is available for a Site Civil Associate Project Manager to support the successful delivery of civil engineering and infrastructure projects. This role would suit an experienced civil engineering professional with strong site-based knowledge, sound commercial awareness and the ability to coordinate teams, contractors and stakeholders effectively.

Working alongside project managers and technical teams, you will help manage projects from mobilisation through to completion, ensuring that works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards. You will be comfortable balancing practical site requirements with project controls, reporting obligations and client expectations.

• Assist with the planning, coordination and delivery of civil engineering and infrastructure works.
• Monitor site progress, productivity, quality and compliance against approved programmes and specifications.
• Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, suppliers and internal project teams.
• Support the preparation and review of programmes, risk registers, progress reports and project documentation.
• Attend site meetings, provide updates and maintain effective communication with clients and stakeholders.
• Help identify and resolve technical, logistical and commercial issues before they affect project delivery.
• Promote a positive health, safety, environmental and quality culture across all activities.
• Assist with cost control, change management, valuations and the close-out of project records.

You will ideally hold a relevant qualification in civil engineering, construction management or a related discipline, together with demonstrable experience working on civil engineering projects in a site or project management capacity. Knowledge of earthworks, drainage, utilities, roads, structures or other infrastructure works would be beneficial.

You should be organised, commercially aware and confident making decisions in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to build constructive working relationships at all levels. A recognised health and safety qualification, such as SMSTS or equivalent, would be advantageous.
