Responsibilities- Provides emergency cardiac catheterization and stroke neuro-endovascular care
- Cardiac Center of Excellence
- Extensive specialty coverage including pediatrics
- ED physicians operate with an efficient split-flow ED process and a simple one-call system for admissions and transfers
- APPs practice independently in the ED, meaning physicians have no APP charts to sign
- Scribe coverage optional, not provided
- ED is a Level II Trauma center with a comprehensive stroke center
- Board-certified/board-eligible in emergency medicine (BC BP) required

Valley Baptist Medical Center, Harlingen, TX - Staffing: 40 hour physician coverage; 20-30 hour APP coverage during peak volumes
