Job Pool for all individuals interested in applying for Classroom Paraprofessionals at any level, Elementary, Middle School, or High School. PRIMARY PURPOSEAssist the teacher in the preparation and management of classroom activities and administrative requirements. Work under the supervision of a certified teacher. Emphasis will be on critical skills in core subject areas.
QUALIFICATIONSEducation/Certification:
- High School Diploma/GED
- An Associate's Degree or higher, or the equivalent of at least 48 semester credit hours from an accredited college or university
- Educational Aide Certificate or Bachelor's Degree
Special Knowledge/
Skills:
- Ability to work well with children
- Knowledge of general office equipment
Experience:
- One year experience in working in an educational environment preferred.
