Overview:
We are seeking a Radiology Physician Assistant (RPA ) to join our Radiology team at Harlingen Medical Group. This role supports diagnostic and interventional procedures under the supervision of a radiologist. Candidates must demonstrate strong clinical skills and a commitment to delivering safe, high-quality care to our patients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):
- Perform fluoroscopic and interventional procedures under the supervision of a radiologist
- Conduct patient assessments including histories and physical exams relevant to radiologic services
- Assist with informed consent, patient positioning, and procedural preparation
- Collaborate with radiologists and staff on procedural planning and patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation in EMR, PACS, and RIS systems
- Ensure compliance with infection control and radiation safety standards
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
- Provide clinical support and serve as a resource to nursing and technologist teams
Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have:
- Current and valid PA License
- Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
- Bilingual preferred; but not required
Additional Qualifications That Are a Plus:
- Proficiency in diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures
- Strong documentation and EMR skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and physicians
- Skilled in patient evaluation, critical thinking, and independent clinical judgment
- Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and infection prevention
