Veranda Rehabilitation and Care Center in Harlingen, TX is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric services. We offer a stable and fun in‑house therapy team and excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele on their journey to recovery.

We are currently seeking a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant for our in-house rehab program.

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders, under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Administer rehabilitation procedures, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and the use of supportive and assistive devices, under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Report treatment outcomes’ effectiveness to the supervising Occupational Therapist.

Must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.

Must hold current and active State license/registration where applicable.
