Texas Oncology is looking for a Registered Nurse to join our team! This position will support our Harlingen clinic at 2121 Pease. Typical work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.
This position will be either a level 1 or Sr based on candidate work experience.

LTIP is an incentive program that typically vests over a three‑year period and is tied to both individual performance and operational success.
Job responsibilities- Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate and promote continuity of care consistent with established standards.
- Assess patient's health status, interview regarding medical history.
- Provide teaching and psychosocial support to patients and families.
- Support clinical operations and patient care.
- Manage medication refill requests.
- Facilitate and schedule consultations, pre‑testing, diagnostics, referrals, future appointments.
- Triage patient phone calls and document relevant information.
- Facilitate communication between patient/family and interdisciplinary team.
- Assist patients in locating community resources.
- Interprofessional collaboration: act as a resource to LPN/LVNs and medical assistants.
- Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education (BSN preferred).
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
- Willing to consider entry, mid, or senior level.
- Current RN state license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
The work environment involves exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, and medical preparations typical of an oncology clinic.
Physical RequirementsRequires full range of body motion. Handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, eye‑hand coordination. Standing and walking for extended periods. Occasionally lift up to 40 lbs. Corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
