Pay Range

Base pay range: $60,000 – $80,000 per year. Compensation also includes commissions and benefits.

Location & Travel

Harlingen, McAllen or Corpus Christi area – South Texas territory. Regular travel required.

About the Role

As a Market Sales Representative, you will drive growth across South Texas, building direct relationships with municipalities and decision‑makers responsible for street, park, trail, and parking lot lighting.

Responsibilities
  • Identify & develop opportunities and build/manage a pipeline of projects.
  • Lead municipal sales efforts and position Fonroche as a go‑to solution.
  • Serve as the primary contact for municipalities, ensuring long‑term engagement.
  • Explore new sales and market development strategies.
  • Become proficient in solar lighting principles and present technical and cost‑saving benefits.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, reporting, and collaboration within CRM tools.
  • Regularly meet with city, county, and municipal leaders in person.
Qualifications
  • Proven B2B sales success, preferably in municipal sales.
  • Experience in public sector, lighting, infrastructure, or sustainable technology is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic thinking and market development ability.
  • Tech‑savvy and organized – proficiency in CRM tools.
  • Resilient goal‑oriented self‑starter.
  • Willingness to travel regularly.
  • Position based in South Texas when not traveling.
