• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and key areas within the location to help deter theft and/or other prohibited activities.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter potential disturbances and provide assistance to staff and patrons as needed.
• Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities according to Allied Universal guidelines.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services when required, while maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to the carrying and use of firearms as an armed post.

• At least one year of security-related experience required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III armed certification required for positions in Texas only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
