ResponsibilitiesThe primary purpose of the Swim Instructor / Lifeguard is to supervise the safety and rescue of swimmers at the HCISD Aquatic Center. In addition, the Swim Instructor / Lifeguard prevent, recognize, and respond to emergencies and provide care for injuries and sudden illnesses until advanced medical personnel arrive and take over.
Qualifications- Must hold a current certification of the following:
- First Aid
- CPR or CPR for the professional
- Water Safety Instructor or Lifeguard rating from an approved certification program, or relevant swim instructor/lifeguard experience
- 1 year related experience as a swim instructor and/or lifeguard
- Knowledge of the daily routine of an aquatic center.
- Comfortable working with children during the swim lesson process.

- Salary:
Minimum Hourly Rate $12.41
