Primary Classroom Support Assistant

Passionate about helping children thrive in the classroom? A welcoming Primary school in Harlow is seeking a confident Classroom Support Assistant to work 1:1 and with small groups, supporting pupils’ learning, confidence and independence across KS1 or KS2.

You’ll work closely with the class teacher to:

• Support structured 1:1 and small group interventions
• Assist with phonics, reading and numeracy activities
• Promote positive behaviour and classroom engagement
• Prepare and maintain learning resources
• Monitor progress and feedback to teaching staff

• Previous school or childcare experience
• Strong behaviour management
• Proactive, patient and reliable
• Confident communication skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
