Graduate Classroom Support - Aspiring Teachers

Graduating this year and planning to train as a teacher? This Primary Classroom Support role is the perfect stepping stone. Gain hands‑on experience delivering 1:1 and small group support, build behaviour management confidence, and strengthen your classroom practice before starting your PGCE or ECT journey.

If you are:

• In your final year of an Education degree

• A future PGCE student

• Considering Teach First or school-based training

• Looking to build classroom confidence

This role gives you:

• Real classroom exposure across KS1 or KS2

• Experience supporting differentiated learning

• Behaviour management development

• Insight into lesson planning and assessment

• Mentorship from experienced teachers

• Supporting teacher-led lessons

• Delivering small group interventions

• Assisting with phonics and numeracy

• Monitoring pupil progress

• Promoting positive behaviour

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
