Care Assistant - Evenings

• Compensation: GBP 12.75 - GBP 13.5 - monthly

Join Home Instead Cuffley, Cheshunt & Harlow and become a valued member of our caring team. We're urgently recruiting Evening and Late Evening Care Assistants to support elderly clients across the Harlow area (CM18, CM19, CM20).

You’ll work directly in clients' homes during evening and late evening hours, helping them with their wind-down routines and ensuring they feel safe, supported, and cared for as the day comes to a close. Your responsibilities will include:

• Evening care support – assisting with meals, hygiene, and bedtime routines
• Meaningful companionship and emotional support
• Light household tasks and mobility assistance
• Creating a safe, comfortable living environment
• Reassurance visits that give clients and their families peace of mind

This is care work where every shift makes a real difference – you’ll be the friendly, reassuring presence our clients rely on at the end of their day.

We're looking for caring, reliable people who:

• Have experience as a Care Assistant, Support Worker, or similar role (or genuine passion to learn – we provide full training)
• Are compassionate, patient, and genuinely enjoy supporting older people
• Have reliable access to a vehicle and are based in or near the Harlow area
• Are available for evening and late evening shifts, including some weekends
• Can build meaningful relationships and offer emotional support
  
  Communicate clearly and work well as part of a team

Previous care experience is beneficial but not essential – we'll train the right person.
