Complex Care Assistant

Libertatem Healthcare Group is looking for dedicated carers with basic care experience who want to make a real difference in the lives of their clients. The Complex Care Assistant role involves supporting a male client in Harlow living with a brain injury and cognitive impairment, helping him live life to the fullest in his own home while promoting independence and wellbeing.

The Complex Care Assistant will be responsible for providing full support with mobility and repositioning, using specialist equipment including a ceiling track hoist and wheelchair. The role involves supporting the client to attend appointments and activities using the client's WAV, as well as being comfortable around the client's friendly Labrador dog. No previous complex care experience is required, as full training and upskilling will be provided.

Contract: Zero-hours

Driver required – you will be supporting the client to attend appointments and activities using the client WAV.
Dog in the home – must be comfortable around pets (friendly Labrador).

About You

Basic care experience required (complex care desirable – training provided)
Confident driving clients safely
Willing to learn and develop new skills
Compassionate, patient, and emotionally resilient
Strong communicator and team player
Flexible to work both day and night shifts
