Director, Commercial Insights and Digital Delivery

Teva Pharmaceuticals seeks a strategic and innovative leader to support each franchise in driving performance through commercial, data‑driven market and competitor intelligence and digital products that enhance customer engagement, marketing effectiveness, and operational efficiency.

Opportunity

The Business Excellence function supports the UK business in executing its strategy and driving performance improvement. This newly created role, part of the Business Excellence LT, will lead the Commercial Insights and Digital Delivery activities within the UK, reporting into the Senior Director, Business Excellence.

On the commercial side, you will work collaboratively with the franchise leads to develop GTM strategies, annual operating plans (budgets) and support the wider business improve performance through the use of KPIs that drive action and insight.

On the digital side, you will work strategically and collaboratively with the business leads across GX, IX and Medical to agree how best to drive their strategies through digital channels, seek new ways of digitalising interaction with strategic customers, and lead the adoption of digital productivity tools across the business.

The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in pharmaceutical insights and analytics, digital delivery, and team leadership, with a passion for data, technology and business impact.

Success in this role requires adeptness at working with local stakeholders to deliver UK priorities, influencing and challenging stakeholders to drive business performance, and comfortable engagement with global stakeholders and delivery teams. As a critical, high‑profile role across the organisation, you will be a visible and influential member of the extended UK leadership team.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver a comprehensive strategy and roadmap for commercial insights and digital transformation aligned with Teva UK’s business objectives.
  • Lead the evolution of customer‑facing channels, web estate, and process automation in collaboration with global IT and digital teams.
  • Integrate market intelligence, competitor analysis, and sales force effectiveness into strategic planning and execution.
  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of commercial analysts and digital product managers, fostering a collaborative and high‑performing environment.
  • Embed best practices in product management, data analytics, and performance reporting across the team.
  • Ensure the team has the skills, motivation, and focus to deliver the business plan.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders across sales, marketing, portfolio, and finance to align insights and digital initiatives with business outcomes.
  • Communicate insights and digital solutions effectively across the organization to ensure adoption and impact.
  • Influence and inspire cross‑functional teams to embrace data‑driven and digital ways of working.
  • Drive the adoption of new technologies and data systems, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across the function and wider business.
  • Collaborate with global teams to orchestrate UK priorities and leverage shared platforms and capabilities.
  • Address regional delivery challenges and optimise the digital and data ecosystem.
  • Establish KPIs and reporting frameworks to monitor the impact of insights and digital initiatives.
  • Use data‑driven insights to inform decision‑making and strategic adjustments.
  • Regularly report progress, challenges, and successes to senior leadership.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in commercial analytics and digital product management.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation within the commercial and digital landscape.
  • Champion the adoption of cutting‑edge solutions that enhance user experience and drive business growth.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in leading commercial insights and digital transformation in a pharmaceutical or related industry.
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical industry and market data sources.
  • Experience in managing external data providers and negotiating data acquisition.
