The appropriate candidate will work closely with the Assistant Works Manager, interpret technical drawings/3D visuals from architects, produce technical 2D/3D drawings using AutoCAD/Solidworks for customer approval, and book the approved data onto the shop floor for manufacturing.
Experience and Skills- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
- Experience in designing to manufacture.
- Experience with joinery.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read architectural drawings and convert to a working document.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Solidworks.
- Must have good working knowledge of AutoCAD software.
- Produce 2D/3D joinery manufacturing drawings for client approval.
- Good understanding of joinery manufacturing desirable but not essential.
