Support, Guide, and Transform Lives Behaviour Mentor St Albans
Location: St Albans, Hertfordshire
Start Date: ASAP / February 2026
Contract: Temporary, with potential for long-term
Pay: From £85 per day
A nurturing primary school in St Albans is seeking a Behaviour Mentor to support pupils with behavioural, social, and emotional needs. You ll help children develop confidence, self-regulation, and positive engagement in learning.
Your Responsibilities:- Provide targeted 1:1 and small group behaviour support
- Implement and monitor individual behaviour plans
- Collaborate with teaching staff, support staff, and parents
- Track pupil progress and provide feedback
- Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive environment
- Experience in behaviour mentoring or similar roles
- Patient, empathetic, and proactive
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Passionate about improving pupil outcomes
