In partnership with the communities we serve, Northwest Regional ESD improves student learning by providing equitable access to high quality services and support.

In alignment with the NWRESD mission, the Social Worker supports and advances the district’s academic mission by delivering comprehensive services that strengthen partnerships among home, school, and community. The role focuses on identifying and addressing barriers that impact student learning through assessment, counseling, consultation, coordination of school and community resources, and program development. The Social Worker fosters a safe, supportive, and inclusive school environment, promotes understanding of students’ social and emotional development, and implements intervention strategies to enhance student well‑being and academic success.

The Social Worker collaborates with parents, teachers, administrators, and community partners to develop and implement strategies that encourage positive student engagement and strengthen overall school connectedness.

• Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling (required)
• Current LCSW License, TSPC School Social Worker License, TSPC Restricted School Social Worker License, or eligible for a Restricted School Social Worker License, current LPC License, LPC Registered Associate, or TSPC School Counselor License
• Experience and/or training in direct mental health skill building and therapeutic interventions
• Ability to travel to school sites, community programs, and home visits across Clatsop, Columbia, Tillamook, and Washington counties
• Valid Driver’s License with available transportation and proof of auto insurance
