Company pension scheme About the Role Agecourt Limited is a growing construction company seeking a reliable and responsible Driver to support our day-to-day construction operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting construction materials, tools, equipment and other items required for our projects between suppliers, storage locations and construction sites. This position is important in ensuring that our teams have the necessary materials and equipment available when required and that projects can operate efficiently.

Key Responsibilities Collect and deliver construction materials, tools and equipment between suppliers, storage facilities and project sites. Transport items safely and securely in accordance with company procedures. Carry out scheduled and urgent collections and deliveries as required by ongoing projects. Load and unload materials and equipment where appropriate. Check materials and items against collection and delivery instructions. Plan efficient routes between different locations and construction sites.

Maintain accurate records of collections, deliveries and mileage where required. Carry out routine vehicle checks and report any faults, damage or maintenance requirements. Keep the company vehicle clean, organised and in a safe working condition. Communicate with site teams and management regarding delivery schedules and requirements. Follow road safety, health and safety and company procedures at all times. Provide general transportation support to the company where reasonably required.

Requirements The successful candidate should:
Hold a valid UK driving licence appropriate for the vehicle being driven. Have a safe and responsible approach to driving. Be reliable, punctual and well organised. Be comfortable travelling between construction sites and suppliers. Be capable of handling construction materials and equipment safely. Have good communication and time-management skills. Previous driving, delivery or construction-sector experience would be beneficial. Salary & Benefits £30,000 £ 50,000 per year , depending on experience and responsibilities.
