Receiver, Administrative​/Clerical

Overview

Under direct supervision, handles daily receipt of merchandise received from vendor trucks by performing the following duties.

• Examines shipment for defects and shortages against receiving documents.
• Records factors causing goods to be returned.
• Unloads and moves incoming shipments to storage.
• Forwards approved receiving documents to appropriate department for processing.

Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Manejar la recepción diaria de mercadería recibida de camiones de vendedores al realizar las siguientes tareas.

• Analizar los envíos en busca de defectos y faltas en comparación con los documentos que detallan lo recibido.
• Registrar los factores por los cuales se devuelven los bienes.
• Descargar y mover los envíos entrantes al almacenamiento.
• Reenviar los documentos aprobados de los productos recibidos al departamento correspondiente para su procesamiento.

Requisitos:

título secundario o título de educación general (GED, por sus siglas en inglés) o de uno a tres meses de experiencia o capacitación relevante, o una combinación equivalente de educación y experiencia.
