Production Manager, Operations Engineer

The Account Coordinator (Production Scheduler) plans, coordinates, and controls production activities to ensure efficient use of resources, on-time delivery, and achievement of production and sales goals. This role ensures each product is scheduled on the appropriate production line based on bottle size, contour, and chemical formula. Accurate scheduling of work order quantities is essential to reserve the required raw materials.
Responsibilities- Develop weekly production schedules to meet deadlines
- Collaborate with the Materials Team to identify and escalate material shortages
- Enter production work orders into the planning system
- Lead daily production schedule reviews with cross-functional departments
- Act as liaison between Sales and Operations teams
- Communicate schedule adjustments to Sales and Operations teams
- Monitor production line capacity to ensure adequate resources for orders
- Oversee production planning for new product launches
- Optimize production processes for efficiency and cost reduction
- Gather and prepare data for S&OP meetings and facilitate as needed
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in production processes
- Resolve production-related issues promptly and effectively
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in production planning
- Oversee production planning KPI metrics
- Be available to work beyond normal hours to prevent production interruptions
- Respond to phone calls or texts before or after hours when necessary
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
- Detail-oriented with accurate communication skills
- Proficient in collaborating across multiple departments
- Working knowledge of data analysis and statistical methods
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Experience with Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
