Production Processor Mfg Indirect -Truss

Performs all administrative duties required to convert engineering data into shop fabrication data to communicate to the production line what needs to be manufactured.

• Performs all clerical tasks associated with releasing a job into the shop. This includes creating applicable cut lists, bunking lists, fabrication drawings and electronic files necessary to operate the shop floor and the computerized manufacturing equipment.
• Creates job folders.
• Generates the shop drawings.
• Groups the shop drawings by work center.
• Batches jobs and creates cutting reports.
• Simultaneously creates the automated saw files and projection fabrication files.
• Releases job to production team.
• Updates scheduling status.
• Edits work order in On-Line Software for shop labor totals.
• Retrieves built information from shop after fabrication.
• Closes production files.
• Performs any other routine tasks associated with the production department.
• Other duties as assigned.

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 18 months of truss fabrication experience.

• Communication – Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively with both Shop employees and the Production Management Team.
• Technical Skills – Demonstrates thorough understanding of Truss Manufacturing Process.
• Computer Skills – Potential to develop basic computer skills.
• Administrative Skills – Must have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities.

• Subject to both typical office environment and outside locations with temperature and weather variations.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently and on occasion up to 80 pounds.
