DESCRIPTION OF WORK
The Clerical Assistant 2 in this position assists the office director with various administrative functions relating to a variety of emergency management activities. These functions include paper and electronic file organization, correspondence, calendar management, and scheduling and monitoring in person or virtual meetings. You must be comfortable with various types of virtual meeting software such as Teams, Web Ex, Go To Meeting, and other collaboration software.
This position will support other members of the team with various administrative duties related to their program areas.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
* Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week, 8:00am to 4:00pm with a 30 minute lunch.
* Free on-site parking at this facility.
* Telework:
You will not have the option to telework in this position.
* Salary:
Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting salary of $36,108 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
* Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
* Graduation from high school; or
* An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:

* You must be able to perform essential job functions.
